4 Week Workshop Series: Doll Making (FULL)

Come and explore the creative possibilities of doll making!! In this 4 week drop off program children will design their own unique pattern, learn the basics of machine sewing and create a doll to take home. We will provide supplies, some inspiration, basic techniques and guidance for children to produce their own piece. It will not be a specific step by step formula but instead support the child's unique vision in making a doll that stems from their imagination. No prior sewing experience is required, only a desire to create!

Guided by local artist and doll making enthusiast Miko Henry. She comes with a background in fine arts and experience as a creative mama of two budding artists. With her small business “Lil Tree & Me” she has enjoyed developing a line of reversible children's clothing and handcrafted dolls that she has exhibited at festivals and shows throughout Ontario. She is very excited to share her love of doll making with children and to see what amazing creations she can help support.
